I've noticed a few people stating that they were not raiding till they finish grinding till 70 and speccing to a solo/pvp build. I realize noone has to worry much about the warriors going to the broken Fury spec (or was it broken Arms? IDK I'm a hunter. lol). And there shouldn't be alot of issues with the mages/hunters/locks... hopefully.

Just curious... we're a bit worried in our (Horde) guild. People are talking about not playing their current classes to roll Palli's/Blood Elves... for months at a time. Mostly our Shaman going instantly to elemental... meaning no mana regen for us till we either replace them totally or wait for their alts to get to raiding levels.

How are you guys going to handle the "possible" sudden loss of healers, etc. when it comes to end-game?

I doubt Alliance will have the same problem. Shaman are attractive for PVP, but people have always created alts specifically for PVP.

What you should do actually is recruit Alliance Paladins and Alliance should do the same with Horde Shaman, then power level those - because they already know (hopefully) how to play the class and you'll not lose people in the process. In the end having Paladins really will help your end game, so any delay you have in the first month should be made up in the second!

Thanks for the input. We may have to start advertising now even, just so we have a pool of people ready to start grinding who already have experience.
