Immortality

I started writing this post in word. I was going to sum up how the retcon affected the current lore and then go into to thinks they should have done / should do in order to make it better. Then I figured out that it was going to end up being a pretty big essay and I didn’t wanna see any of you have a wall of text crit your face so I am gonna make this short.

The Draeni having Eredar ties is dumb because it retcons Sargaras’ madness which is the axis for everything that has happened in Warcraft. On top of that it makes you question why the Orcs were able to beat a race like the Eredar (Eredar blessed by angels mind you). On top of that, the “dimensional ship”, and the fact that the Blood Elves shot it down, is just too terrible for words.

So what should they have done?

Eredar Ties:
Draeni and Eredar need to be their own race. Change the male model to not have the standard Eredar head and we are good.

The Naaru:
One tribe of Dranei was lead by a brave warrior named Velen. When the rest of the Draeni were fleeing from the wrath of the horde, Velen and his tribe decided to stay their ground and fight. Seeing promise in these warriors the Naaru came to Velen and him and his people the powers of the light in exchange for their services in the upcoming battles against the legion.

LOL SPACESHIP:
In order to battle the legion the Draeni needed a way to transport from world to world. For this purpose the Naaru gave Velen the ability to open dimensional gateways that would allow them to find a new home world as well as allow them to defend other planets when necessary.

Hatred of the Blood Elves:
With the Sunwell gone the Blood Elves needed to find a new magic source. In desperation they began tapping into anything they could find. This haphazard approach led them to tap into the very magic the Draeni were using for their gateways. This disruption altered the path of the Draeni and left them stranded on Azeroth.

So that’s what I think. Thoughts, coments, concerns?

dranei and eredar split BEFORE sargaras emprisoned the eredar and why they split? eredar wanted to use thier magics to kill and the dranei didnt but were outnumbered henced had to flee for thier lives. income the narrutos... uh naruus i mean and says since you stand so strong with us well save your asses. port them to dranor.

flash forward to the demon blood drinking party down orcs raping and what not. the dranei get ported again. this time to azoroth. why? to fit the narrus needs to form an army to stop the demons

There are 2 major problems with the lore.

1) The evil of the Eredar drove SARGERAS insane in original lore. Now they've flip-flopped it and stated that SARGERAS corrupted the eredar.

2) Spaceship LOL. Jesus christ, that's what you get for letting interns fuck with lore. Piss off all the game-lore nerds (no offense ershin, i include myself in that group )

What you said would fix it though, and what Rauko so elequently stated would work too.
