I'm glad someone finally said something, because all the immaturity and "omg look at us we rulez" is getting *really* annoying imo, and making just a whee bit embarassed to have this tag above my head.

Madcow, Hulex has stated many times that he wants us to the be the first guild on this server to kill Onyxia. I don't think there is anything wrong with posting this information as long as it's kept to one thread that can just be bumped whenever there is new info. Hulex is our GL and therefore should take the responsibility of posting this information on the WoW forums. Letting other guilds know of our progress could be considered bragging, yes, but it coudl also be considered incentive for other guilds to work harder at these encounters. I don't know about you but I don't really want to be fighting sub-par equipped horde when Battlegrounds comes out. We are already a guild with very skilled players, having sub-par equipped enemies won't be much fun.

And personally I think we deserve bragging rights for all the hard work we've put into this game and guild so far, as long as it's done with maturity and respect. If guildies are seriously going around saying "we beat Onyxia AND Gehennas, we r00lz!" then that's pretty lame. But if people are going around talking to their friends in game and whatnot, informing them of our amazing accomplishments then I see nothing wrong with that.

Like I said earlier though, I do agree that there shouldn't be an onslaught of threads about what we've accomplished on the WoW forums or even our own. Hulex is proud enough of our guild to be the one to make these posts and make them right.

Agreed, no more linking damn loot in main chat either. People already hate us, no reason to give um more of a reason.

imo the guild leader needs to be the one to see the loot first on any FIRST boss drop and link it himself not some random person.

Also Hulex should make a thread each time we kill a first and hulex alone.
