If you have your PC in any kind of power saving feature, specifically in vista under power options, go into your plan>change plan settings>Change advanced power settings Look for the opton called PCI express.>link state power management>MAKE SURE THIS IS SET TO OFF I messed around with some power saving settings last night and this got changed and was borking my FPS to hell. As soon as I changed it back my FPS are back to pegged at 60fps. I suspect that this setting is robbing the PCI Express Bus of power thus limiting your video card tremendously. What I do know is turning it off fixed my problem. |

Augustt, I'm sure this would have been very useful for me about 2 weeks ago, and so I would like to say fuck you. Bump for people whose computers could use this boost. |
