I know this is a question with no real answer, or rather everyone has their own answer. But what do you think the best class to play is or what class in what situation (e.g. PvP, soloing etc.)? |

Hmm, well I can only speak for classes I've played. Warlock As for soloing, my Warlock can solo very well, I have a tank pet that i send in and beat on the mob slowly til it dies. It isnt very fast, but I can take on adds very well, and handle mobs significantly higher than me. In PvP all classes can be great. The Warlock isnt generally a class taking lots of people out, but I can put my curses and dots on tons of people then focus on a single target. I dont get a ton of credit for kills because my DPS is steady rather than burst (like mages and rogues), but I enjoy playing a Warlock for the most part. Priest I did get a Priest to lvl35, and it was a very fun character. They can solo extremely well, and very efficiently (moving from one mob to the next with little downtime). In PvP Priests are a nightmare, they are usually targeted soon, but unless focus fired, are very tough to take out. An obvious benefit, is Priests are always needed for groups, and usually in short supply. Hope that helps. -Hulex |

I love playing my warrior, but it is somewhat discouraging to walk around and see hunters, pallys and others (at my level) solo stuff that would kill me in an instant. The reason for being a warrior is really to be a tank, but in WoW it is HARD to be a tank. You lose aggro very easily and end up running around trying to use mocking blow to draw hard hitting mobs off those expecting you to take the damage. |

Warrior aggro management just had a huge overhaul this patch, Im sure it will be balanced and tweaked to hold aggro better. Keep in mind that Warriors are a really gear-dependant class, as you get better equipment you'll get much stronger. |

I like the idea of being a knight in shining armor type thing so I think warrior is the best. Yeah we get beat on a lot, but that's our job. |

Looks Rogue - 2 daggers/swords BAM, thats the look of a bad ass mofo Rest - meh PvE Soloing is very easy for rogues, that is 1 or 2 monters your lvl at a time. Rest - ya, meh PvP Rogue is so much fun, stealthing around when your engaged in PvP, but in a duel, some characters are near impossible for a rogue to kill. Conclusion, ya rogue for me ^_^ But its a loaded question |

Andorkov: If you are planning on going rogue, i would strongly suggest duel wielding swords instead of daggers. The damage output is a lot greater with swords. The only rogues i lose to in duels are sword rogues. |
