now about BWL, only at Vael,Flamemaw,Flamegor fire resist gear needed?
not against chromaggus? Razorgore?Nefa?
and what about onyxia u also need at him 315 fire resist?

My question is at what mobs/bosses at MC/BWL is fire resist needed? At what mobs/bosses is Fire resist needed in MC? and how mutch fire resist - what fire resist piece of armour you can wear the best then? From what i know as a mage you need very high fire resist for in MC Ragnaros, (helps alot on geddon if you want your tank to stay tanking while he pulses). In BWL Vael,Flamemaw,Flamegor. I'll let you figure out how much and y by yourselves. Remeber I'm just a mage so take what i say bout the tanks with a grain of salt. P.S. Also Krixius you must have 2-3 tanks with very high resits expect to lose 1/2 your riad when you fight him. |

so with bosses in MC u need at Baron(usefull) and Ragnaros fire resist. and BWL Veal/flamemaw/flamegor by those bosses fire resist? Ragnaros i know 315 fire resist. and what about the other bosses? and the trash mobs at mc some fire resist is usefull at them? |

we´ve found that fire resist in MC is only really needed at Rag.. trash mobs shouldnt require any.. thats saying your tank is decently equipped.. and fire resist on barron.. isnt a big deal as long as the tank knows how to get out of the pulses fast enough. Although im sure it doesnt hurt to have resist on bosses like Mag, Geh(only for rain of fire but the tank could easily move out of it( Barron etc.. if the items dont gimp other stats to much. |

like dark iron helm + legging and shaman totem is 165 fire resist and some other stuff its about 200 fire resist, that wud be enough for magmadar,gehennas,baron geddon? and like dark iron helm (50)+ totem for a fire lord trash mob? |

i dont know what gear your MT has set wise.. but we dont use dark iron items for the beggining bosses since they are simple.. so in short IMO you dont need fire resist for anyone in MC besides Rag... with a tiny exception of maybe..maybe barron. but if the items you normally wear to tank any other boss have fire resist.. all the more power to ya.. but thats just my guild and many others might do it many different ways. |
