I think about this stuff all the time.

I have always believed that Blizzard screwed the balance between Horde and Alliance with Shaman and Paladins. This isn't a 'nerf shaman' whine either. I believe what they should have done is given the Horde another plate wearing class like Death Knight or something and balanced them against Paladins.

They should have made Druids NE only (I know technically Tauren might have been the first Druids) to balance against Shaman.

Armor sets that look very different depending on your race. They already do this to an extent for Undead and Tauren(boots) everything else just scales.

4 different looks for armor sets you can change at any time: Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring. That would just shift the hues of the items. For example Cenarion shoulders would be yellow for Summer, light blue for winter, orange for Fall and their current green for spring. The setting would change the whole set not just 1 piece so sets maintain a disinct look and unity.

Much better LFG and PvP queing tools.

Better guild tools including a raid scheduler and "post-it" board.

Woodworking and Lumberjacking to create staffs and arrows. I don't know why this didn't make it into the game. There are many hints to it in the mpqs.

5 on 5 group duels.

I'd like to see Blizzard hire the developers(like Valve did for CS and DoD) of the following mods and co-opt and standardize them - CT Raid Assist, Call to Arms, Move Anything and any of the Bib Toolbar/ Dischord Library type mods. I get so frustrated having to redo the settings for these every time the game is patched. Callt to Arms just because it is so well done but nobody uses it and the current LFG is terrible/non-existent.

I could go on and on.

Overall Blizzard did an amazing job on this game. I go through the mpqs alot and am constantly amazed at the sheer amount of content in this game as well as the level of quality.

My "X" would be

Race specific classes. I think that NEs should only be allowed to be druids. Taurens can have a similiar class. Necromancer for undead; could act as an undead priest. Orc berserker; essentially a warrior. Tauren milk producer; create a cold glass of milk that restore 500 mana every 3 seconds, must be seated while consuming.

Woodworking should have been a profession to start off with. It could be similiar to engineering as well as shield, Staves, and bows.

Built in UI modifications. The existing bars that blizz provides suck in all that is suckyness...... I do not want to hunt down recompiled UI add ons after each patch.

Guild housing, Either purchasable or buildable via a woodworker/carpenter.
Can be used to house the guild bank/locker room. As well as ingame frat parties.

Profession bag slot. I hate having to carry my mining pick and engeneering items in my bags when i should have a 4 slot bag that can only hold profession tools.

And a couple of other things I can't remember right now.
