mages dmg has never been an issue, mages complaining about dmg dont know wtf they are talking about. only problem with mages is the ease of shutting them down. Also only 1 spec which you must follow exactly is viable for pvp, or you are gimped. =/

Tbh, dont think that mages need any tunning.

I have seen really good mages own ppl in pvp, and they dont pack +700 spell dmg like this dude here...
With these 2 talismans anyone mage/lock can 1 shot opponents, just the lock needs 2.5secs and the mage can do it instant:)

Nice vid though, always a pleassure when ppl play their class well.

Having these two items shouldn't be a requirement. Or if it is, then there should be a PVP equivalent version. Personally, I don't PVP so it's not a huge deal to me but if they are a requirement for mages to do well in PVP then there should be an easier way for someone who pvps to get them.

Heh, all i know is it's possible for mages to own the shit out of stuff with the right combination of talents and gear, as demonstrated here... it's the same for any class I imagine... i've even heard of druids coming out with pvp vids, but haven't seen one yet

And as far as mages being restricted to one talent setup or being gimped in pvp... you mean like the warrior MS/enrage setup? Other builds are passable , but MS/enrage is clearly superior for pvp.

Mages needing specific gear to excel in pvp? You mean like warriors requiring high dmg slow 2h weps? Or rogues and their 58dps daggers? Instead of weps, mages need trinkets to whoop ass... how is that bad?

All i'm saying, is that this game isn't as melee imbalanced as many make it out to be.

How many high damage slow 2h are there though? Can you get them in PVP? Now compare that number to burst trinkets. That's all I'm saying
