Im about to break down and install wow on my laptop, the only thing is that the laptop has 240 mb of ram and the minimum requirements is 256. IT does have a 64 mb video card though. Has anyone played on a system that didnt meet the min. requirements?

Havent' played on min requirements no. But, i'm pretty sure you will be lagging pretty bad with that setup, even with the video settings turned down all the way =\.

hehe, probly get the blue screen of death as soon as you log in. I know how you feel and I would just try it, it's worth a shot.

Well, should be ok if you turn everything down ALL the way.. this'll be a good way for you to burn off some rested xp, since you're probably at the '1.5 level's of Rested' cap. When are you returning to your normal computer again?

I don't know about having less than the required RAM, but I did talk to someone who was running it on a 333mhz pc, lol. Said they only experienced a little lag and had the settings at default. But yeah, I think RAM would be the most important aspect of running this game smoothly. Lemme know how it works out though, I might have to try installing it on my machine, once i get a new LCD :( $$$
