Immortality

This is only a theory, loose information that I'm trying to put together. Maybe you already know this stuff, maybe this is old news, maybe I'm completely wrong, maybe this is all nonsense, this is just my theory on whats gonna happen in the end of Ahn'Qiraj.

In this thread I'm gonna use what info I have to make up the final boss fight.

First off, the final boss of Ahn'Qiraj will most probably be C'Thun, the Old God (or part of him) who was defeated by the Titans in ages past.
To make a long story short, he didn't like being booted out of the world, so he created the Quiraji and the Silithid who were finally imprisoned behind a massive scarab wall in Silithis, with the help of Fandral Staghelm (whose son was killed in the war), Anachronos the Bronze Dragon and several other dragon flights.

The text states that the Quiraji reffered to their master as C'Thun. In the Model Viewer there are several models with the name "Kathune", which can be pronounced exactly the same way as C'Thun (if you try hard enough.)

If Kathune is indeed C'Thun, then the final boss of the 40-man Ahn'Qiraj instance is going to be an Old God, and how the heck do you defeat a god?
Well, maybe you aren't fighting his whole self?

Maybe you'll get to fight his eye, as this huge model might suggest:

In Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, you would face a Forgotten One in one of the final maps. They looked like this:



Notice the eyes around the side? Same model as the biggy.
Maybe C'Thun will use this model and look like a Forgotten One, maybe you'll only be fighting his huge eye, I don't know.

In Warcraft III, the Forgotten One would spawn immobile tentacles around the area, looking like these models also found under the Kathune name:



So this boss is probably gonna be spawning these 'round the fight area too. Nasty for wiping healers...
Even worse, there is also this model:



More eyes? This time WITH lid. These are very much like the normal tentacles, only casters. They have pretty much nothing but casting animations on em.
So not only are you gonna get melee adds all over the place, but also a bunch of nasty caster-tentacles.

I also found this model:



Its shows some kind of portal, maybe from which C'Thun will be summoned, or will summon something.

I believe that the Old God C'Thun is the master of the Forgotten Ones, and the Faceless Ones as well. Maybe you already faced some Faceless Ones on the test server, but if this theory is correct, there's probably gonna be a whole bunch of Forgotten and Faceless Ones swarming around.

Also, the Forgotten One in The Frozen Throne could shoot fireballs... This leads me to think that AQ is gonna require just as much FR as MC and BWL, maybe even more (as I think C'Thun will be the strongest boss yet.)

I'm not sure what this thing is, looks kinda nasty though. Carries the Kathune name, and is probably part of the C'Thun encounter too.

Yes the final boss is C'Thun :p

The Forgotten One in the city of Azjol'Nerub was an old god and could have quite possibly been C'Thun. The Nerubians were resistent to the Lich Kings psychic domination and were probably resistent to C'Thun and so they eventually defeated him and trapped him in the lower city. It would not be far fecthed to guess a being of as much power of an Old God could be in more then 1 place at a time.

The Silithid on the other hand were not resistent to C'Thun and were dominated by the Qiraji which were created by C'Thun in his own image.
