So i was informed for my 19th birthday that just went past, that i was going skydiving in atlanta. Ive never been but i just wanted to know if anyone else has ever gone. The people that are taking me up told me they would take me up to 9500ft and for about ten dollars more they would take me up to 14500ft. A little high up. |

I skydived (skydove?) once and it was a blast. Of course part of that had to be from being strapped to another man's body so tight I could hardly breathe... Go 14500 feet imo! That's almost 50% more height for $10. That's gotta translate to a few more seconds of free fall. |

Yea, i think they said it would be about another 2-3 minutes in the air if i went 14500ft compared to 9500ft. I really dont know what im going to do. I think i might go the extra bit and pay ten dollars more so i can bounce harder if i hit the ground without a parachute. |

As of right now im going down to atlanta the 3rd of june and jumping the 4th which should be a sunday i think. It's a 3-4 hour day there at the site. About an hour or two for training and showing you around a bit. Then a few minutes to suite up and then it takes about twenty minutes from take off to landing. |

I dont care how many skydives you have, until you've jumped from a C-130 moving at 120 knots, with 150lbs of equipment and 45lbs of parachute strapped to your body, into the pitch-black night at 800 feet AGL with 1200 of your closest friends, youre still a LEG!

That is pretty awesome. Unfortunately im not much of an army buff so i dont think i'll ever be doing that. But i will skydive.

I assume you have to jump with someone your first time? I really need to look into prices, Ive wanted to skydive for a really long time |
