Was just thinking about this.
Atiesh seems to be much easier than thunderfury to obtain (which it seems so many warriors and such have now...quite common i'd say)
Now, I know nax is a difficult instance, and that kel hasnt been downed by alot of guilds yet. But, as with any instance, that will change over time (and more than likely sooner turnover than the previous ones...with the help of lots of Frost resist for saph and kel). There is also the possibilty of Nax being nerfed, which I don't think is an unreasonable assumption (as EVERYTHING else has gotten nerfed at some point, as well as such fights as loatheb and gothik almost requiring world buffs and flasks can be a bit too much in my opinion).
Which bring me to my point in this thread. I wonder how common Atiesh will become? The fact that after you get the splinters (about a 10-15% drop from each boss) you just gotta kill 2 bosses for the last parts...seems almost too easy to me (instead of the whole "omg i gotta wait for my random garr binding"). If immo (or any other guild) has mroe common naxx runs like we did this past week where I think almost every boss but one dropped a splinter....I could for see this staff being quite a common occurrence
Does anyone agree with me? And does that bother anyone that it might be that easy to get? (don't go off the wall on me about how hard kel is i know that, but as i said in a short time i believe like with all fights itll be easier for any higher end guild to kill)
Now that aside, what do you think the demand is for the staff for the 4 caster classes? As in, who do you guys think gets the most / least use out of it and actually wants it? I haven't heard of many warlocks wanting the staff though that just could be to my own lack of knowledge. I was honestly thinking that mages and priests have the best forms simply because the crit aura can up dps insanely, and the healing aura well, thats just sick as well. (not taking anything away from the mana regen aura from the druids but usually healing classes manage their mana well enough that I dont think it would be as big an impact.)
Dunno why just felt like getting some opinions from people since im bored at work
Edit: also wanted to ask what people thought of going BACK to nax after people lvl up to get atiesh...say a group of lvl 65's farming for it. Do you think this staff will still hold out hardcore up to and through lvl 70?
