I know what exactly is wrong.
I've had it happen to me with Daemon before too. But i use Daemon dalily. There is a bug in the old versions of Daemon that where if your loading image is called when the boot sector is loaded for boot it flips out. And you will then get stuck at that no options are working at the "Windows was not shutdown prop" Screen. What you have to do is what Guns is saying. From your information, it tells me you run XP. So you will need a XP windows CD that has the repair feature on it. When the CD comes up it will ask you if you want to instal windows or if you would like to repair it. choose repair. you will then get a dos prompt. I'll have to do some research..... oh fuck it here.
http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/51 ... 31733.htmlBasically you need to do #4 ,then #6. which is done through #5 that's what i was trying to talk you through
Get to that dos prompt and type
Fixboot [drive]:
so for you
Fixboot C:
That should fix your shit if what i think is wrong is what is wrong.
if i'm wrong it still wont hurt you to do it. Question is do you have Windows startup disk and not your shitty Fuckitsu disk.. read #1 if you need to make one on a diff computer or i guess i could send you one after i torrent it.
let me know, i love you and want you to be up and running.
If all else fails i can help you build a cheap gaming rig. it's what I've been doing all summer for a bunch of co-workers so I'm pretty up on the mats and know how to craft it : P Best $/performance!
