Excellent questions, The priest class is AWESOME and very versatile and challenging which makes each spec fun and interesting to play. I've been playing Paigow since Day One. Weather its healing or melting faces i really enjoy playing Paigow. Since the beginning of wow I've always had one goal for Paigow, and that is to make her the best she can possibly be, which will continue till Blizzard shuts down the servers. I can play all the specs, I've done it all and excelled in all. In Vanilla thru Lich King i was a Main tank healer and raid healer for a guild that some of the old school immo members might remember, Forgotten Prophets, We were awesome we kicked ass and had fun. If Stang needed something done, he could count on me to do it. After Stang stopped official 25 man raids I left along with many others, when I joined a new guild I decided to do something new and try out Shadow. Since Vanilla I always liked to tinker with shadow. So after doing my homework, and many bouts of trial and error I managed to become one of the best shadow priest on server. Specific Situations: Through my dps/skill/dedication I made many core raiders and officers within wrath question why Redwinds got his legendary before me. I was out dpsing peeps in firelands and they HAD legendaries. The most recent one that i can recall is learning and then mastering taking impales on heroic madness. Are you competent in playing other specs within your class? Do you have off spec gear? Yes, I'm competent and not scared to play other specs. i'll do the necessary work to min/max whatever spec that is currently needed for progression. I never stop learning how to better min/max my class. To be honest my off spec gear is awful cause of loot rules and such, but i do have LFR junk, This content is over, and with the new content around the corner I plan on in Mist of Panda's to run/gear and min/max 2 specs. Why did you leave? I believe leaving or joining a guild isn't something you do on a whim, I have loyalty to what ever guild I'm in. Which means i show up to raid even if i don't need loot, I show up for the greater good and for the core members that helped gear me. If you read the above, you'll see when it comes to raiding on Skullcrusher i dont mess around, ive done it, ive seen it, i lived it, I've always been in a top notch progression guild. This is how i raid: I'm old school, I do my homework, such as reading strats, watching videos, I always come prepared, enchants, gems, flasks, potions, food buffs, I do Whatever I can to maximize my dps, such as talk to other shadow priest and keep current with all the aspects of my class, Above all else, I listen and learn from my mistakes. i'm not so sure bout the joke, but to each his own. However, unless paigow got a mental illness since we raided in firelands i can vouch for his dps and raid awareness and the such. good player and i endorse. |
