Character Information

It's a paladin. I've been playing it since Vanilla. It was born on Skullcrusher and I think that there is something poetic about bringing it back to die on Skullcrusher.

Explain why you enjoy playing your class. How long have you been playing the class you are applying with and do you have any experience playing other classes/specs? Give two examples of specific situations in which you shine on your class.

Well, I started playing a Paladin in 2004 because I wanted to protect stuff. Then I found out actually we were destined for round after endless round of nerfing. So, I played Holy for many years instead. The endless persecution of Paladins eventually stopped and now we enjoy a fairly balanced class. I like to play Protection the most, but I'm still a pretty good healer and I think I measure up in that respect as well.

Specific situations in which I shine? Okay look, I always shine. Look at my armory. I'm purple. REALLY PURPLE. That's pretty shiny.

Are you competent in playing other specs within your class? Do you have off spec gear?

I can play Protection and Holy. I hate DPS, was never built to be a DPS and frankly suck at it. I have a warrior for DPS which can be fun when you want to take out some anger but for the most part, it's all about the Paladin.

What alts do you actively play, at least over level 80.

Warrior alt, I made a warrior tank a long time ago and used that to tank in protection. He lacks some gearing now, but I would gear him up if that became a requirement. It's all about the guild really.

I use IceHUD and Dominos, along with Omen and Pitbull. Everything is middle bottom and nothing else on my screen.

Experience

Provide a link to a World of Log for cataclysm content. At the very least provide a damage meter for a dummy under the following conditions: 5 minutes long, any standard raid buffs you would like, and include the breakdown of your damage as well as the overall damage done. Do not skip over this.

What raiding guilds have you been a part of? Why did you leave?

I have been a part of Exodia, Ascent, Razor, Runehammer and now Death Merchants. I left because they died. Death Merchants is cool, but I'm looking for a bit more and a little bit more of a familiar atmosphere.

What is your raiding experience? Please be as specific as possible and include content from Vanilla to current.

I've done it all except WOTLK. I burned out after TBC and just couldn't pull it together. Was part of US first kills in Naxxramas on Vanilla, top 100 guilds for MC/BWL and Server Firsts for SSC/TK.

I like Chess. I play it like crazy.

Why do you enjoy raiding? What keeps you playing this game?

I like beating things. I hate walking away from a raid boss if I haven't left blood on the dance floor. I dunno, call it OCD, but I am really intense about killing raid bosses and pushing the limits.

Immortality raids 4 days a week Monday through Thursday from 8pm-12pm EST. Does this work for you? How about when school starts?

Oh, I'm too old for school. And yes, it works fine. It's nothing compared with the old days.

What do you believe you can contribute to Immortality?

What do you need? I'm a team player.

Are you able to handle, at times, harsh constructive criticism?

You can't raid tank without this. Raid tanks take it up the ass every raid, just like healers. Maybe that's why I gravitate to both. I like the pressure.

I have a ridiculous computer. Core i7 hexacore with 64GB ram and SLI Nvidia graphics + SSD drives and liquid cooling. It won't be a problem.

As cut and dry as they get.

This seems like a no-brainer as we could really use another dedicated tank. It's nice that Ugly and I can fill both tank/dps rolls, but I'm sure even Trisun might want a break every once and awhile and get goofy on a boss. Maybe not, but having that extra tank or pally healer for our 25mans wouldn't hurt. I'll leave that for the big guns to decide.

Tanks are few and far between. May save Zenko some Gold.

Shit he might save Ugly some repairs But an extra tank certianly wouldn't hurt with just 2 we seem to have a day a week w/o one.
