Immortality

Update: 5-8-05. We finally managed to round up 40 members and work on taking ragnaros down tonight. We burned him down to 0% in 2 minutes and 38 seconds and only lost two members during the whole process. His loot was Judgement Leggings, Wrath Leggings, Band of Accuria, and a sick rogue dagger.

Update: We've got a few more attempts under our belts now and have managed to kill the sons of flame and get back to Rag. We do however suffer substantial casualties during this time and are continuously revising our strategies accordingly. , a week or 2?

Update: Our second Ragnaros attempt got him to . This will likely be the last public update regarding our progress for a little while -- until a more substantial dent is made in the encounter.

Tonight Majordomo Executus surrendered before the power of Immortality. Upon his defeat he was kind enough to call forth the God of Fire himself, Ragnaros.

Due to the encounter being broken you only get one attempt at him per week, so we had to make sure we made our first one count; and I believe it can be considered a good effort. We took Ragnaros to 72% before he concluded his slaughter, but it was a lot of fun. Needless to say, Im a bit worried to find out what kind of "stage" transitions one can assume he has.

Also worth noting, I found a that resembles the Immortality tabard... Perhaps hinting that we are destined to bring his death...
