On Friday we decided to take on the Molten Core and postpone our Onyxia slaughter for Saturday. Things went extremely well, for our first time in there we managed to get to Lucifron which (to the best of my knowledge) makes us the first alliance to do so. After 3 attempts at him -- our best of which was around 65% -- we had to call it a night due to equipment repairs and people needing to call it a night.
Thrilled with our progress in the Core, we decided to head back there on Saturday. We had a MUCH better group makeup with curse cures in every group and 8 priests. Unfortunately, when we went inside the portal, our raid was split in half, due to the popular "raid locking" bug.
Extremely disappointed with this we decided to take everyone back to Onyxia and make a few runs. We got her to fly on the first attempt, and promptly wiped soon after. The rest of the runs showed no improvement, as we werent fully prepared for Onyxia instead of Molten Core as a last minute decision.
