Ya, this is going to REALLY affect how pallies are used in PVE... almost like a whole new class...

The ret tree looks interesting from a dmg standpoint... don't underestimate an instant wep dmg attack... this plus holy strike plus hammer of wrath would most likely allow you to burst dmg kill someone in pvp, similar to a warriors' Hit - WW - hit - MS - execute combo...

Then again, it could be fake too

Paladin's would still have BoK, in fact it would be much easier to get. Yes, there's a lot of burst damage in there- Seal of Command does get nerfed, but that is more than made up for by Benediction (low dps addition, but steady) and Holy Strike... however Holy Strike being 5% of total mana actually punishes Paladins for having more INT.

Personally I love the addition of an instant heal, and the damage control given to us by even just Holy Strike and Hammer of Wrath (even not counting Strike of Retribution) will make for a lot of burst damage, especially when coupled with our stun.. also, Seal of Command will more than likely be able to proc off of Holy Strike.

As for Blessing of Salvation- it's going to be a pain to use, and we'll need more Paladin's per raid, but not much is really changing. Paladin's will go from just being cleanse bot's to also being salv bots.. cycling through the raid one after another Salving a different person every 10 seconds, since it knocks off a portion of that players aggro every application.

The instant heal would be awesome too.. even though I'm sure the HoT effect will get purged 90% of the time in PvP.

I find these rumored changes implausible simply because they are too drastic.

Lol.. that'd be great tang, but based off Eyonix's post today and a few of the talents in there, thats impossible. Look at the Imp. Ret Aura.. that'd be over 40 damage a hit just from the aura.. Holy Purity would be great though, as would that Sanc Aura.

I call 'Zeal' build for raiding purposes. The improved lay on hands would be pretty ridiculous too, throw that on a warrior in AB and let him rock out for the next 30 seconds.

Interesting note is that the 'Conviction' talent improves Holy Strike? I'm not saying I believe these notes, but I mean c'mon, if they give us holy strike on top of seal of command (let alone 5/5 improved seal of command) then GG anybody. It would have to be a weak Holy Strike, because the HS of yore would hit for 1k non-crit anyhow.
