think itll hold up through burning crusade?...and if so for how long?

I mean, casters have waited what, 2 years for a legendary finally? I wonder if like other things Blizzard would end up putting in lvl 70 epics or blues even that would rival this weapon or put it out of its misery within months. I mean, one can at least predict that a lvl 70 caster legendary would dominate atiesh...but I'm surious to see if any epics prior to it will do the same.

not to mention the concept...of an aura? I think they will implement that elsewhere. Not just in weapons, but maybe even rings or other items that give aura bonuses


and to visuna --- sorry to hear about your semi unlucky streak hun that bites the big one. Have faith though (ooooo tier 3 double entendre FTW) cause as you progress and kill more bosses you'll definitely end up seeing more splinters each clearing.

Better? for sure. but the special aura effect is not as directly overpowering as the direct damage gain TF had over its comparable items. TF's proc keeps it viable for a long time. But once staves starting hitting 200 damage, most will stop valueing the party auras as much.


TF btw, is level 80 legendary.
Aka level 86.7, which is why level 89 epics from Naxx are surpassing it.
