Yeah. I'm not saying we're perfect over here Haniel, and maybe I should say Denmark, and not Europe, but this whole paranoid state of mind among the general public is identified with America, and although the UK government might be taking some crazy measures, I don't think the population has anything near the American paranoia. I'm not gonna pretend I know what I'm talking about here, I can only talk for my own country, but that's the impression I have, anyways. We haven't been hit by terror yet, but in my opinion, the only effect of terror is fear, and as long as we don't live in fear for being killed in an explosion or whatever, terror bombings have absolutely no significant impact on society, as the number of people getting killed is really nothing in the greater picture. It's not like London can't rebuild it's metro, and the US still work fine without their precious towers, and although the deaths of the civilians killed is tragic, let's be frank - it means nothing to the general US or UK population, the effect is purely mental. It's the same thing with plane crashes - shit never happens, and some people are still afraid of flying. It's all about thinking rational, and seeing the greater picture, and not letting yourself be controlled by ridiculous fears - especially not the ones cunning governments try to force upon us.

I imagine these are the types of things they will be looking for, and looking for information on how they can relate those attacks to real life attacks and look for similarities etc.

the only thing in that report dealing with video games was the Reynard thing. the rest of it dealt with actual data of some type. so the Video Analysis and Content Extraction, Tangram, and Knowledge Discovery and Dissemination all deal with stuff with nothing to do with video games. The basis of the entire report was that the intelligence community has way more data than they can possibly handle. So they proposed a multitude of ways to sort and sift through data so that they can focus on the one that has the best results in predicting terrorism and protecting people.
