hahahaha this is true. let me put it this way, you would think that an AZN owns the computer or something, so much glowy shit on it and just over the top lighting haha... i still have the red LED light from it u didnt want lol

as for your desktop, you can always swap the laptop processor or something, and boot up from your flash harddrive.. or sometimes just resocketing it works. your laptop problem sounds like a software issue, you might have to get your harddrive wiped, which any old comp store can do for cheap. if your XP cd wont work or boot from disk, you're fucked pretty much... : (

ok, guns i need your help. I got your flash drive boot disk working.... but I can't delete the file in question, it says invalid function...

the command i'm using is

del c:\\Windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys

and it's saying invalid function... why won't it delete?

you have 2 \\ after the c: as well

If any of those commands are saying invalid function, try other common dos commands and let us know if they work as well.

I'll try it - but it usually says invalid command or file path not found, it seems like I'm entering the right command but it's just not letting me delete.

for example,

erase c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys gives me "path not found

while

erase c:\\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys gives me "invalid function"

it's like the file is protected or something. also, apparently there's an sptd####.sys (random #'s for the # signs) somewhere in there but how can i find them if i can't even get into safe mode?

son of a bitch, there's my problem. I did a directory of c, it's showing my USB flash drive as my C:

so i have no idea how to access my actual HDD. tried a directory of every other letter lawl, none of them worked.
